Mizan-Tepi University Welcomes Newly Admitted Undergraduate Students

Mizan-Tepi University has begun welcoming newly admitted undergraduate students for the 2026/2027 (2019 E.C.) academic year at both its main campus and the Tepi campus.
Upon their arrival at the respective campuses, the students were received by the University Student Union, basic service staff, and senior students, alongside members of the university management. Additionally, students who completed the remedial program at Mizan-Tepi University last year (2025/2026 academic year) and achieved passing scores have also begun entering the campus under similar arrangements.
The President of Mizan-Tepi University, Honorable Dr. Wako Geda, together with the entire university community, expressed their joy and extended a warm welcome to the incoming students.
In his concluding remarks, the Honorable President called upon the communities of Bench Sheko and Sheka Zones, as well as the city administrations of Mizan-Aman and Tepi. Expressing appreciation for their past support, he shared his full confidence that the local community will continue to extend their customary familial love and solidarity to the new students.
